BUDDING photographers or painters are wanted to produce stunning images for New Lanark World Heritage Site’s range of postcards.

Inspiring artwork or photographs capturing one or all of the fascinating aspects of New Lanark World Heritage Site – the Falls of Clyde, New Lanark buildings and architecture and woodland and wildlife – are being asked for. They will be sold to visitors from around the world at New Lanark Mill Shop.

New Lanark heritage manager Jane Masters said: “Every day we see fantastic photos of New Lanark shared on our Twitter and Facebook pages, so we thought it would be a great idea to get the public involved in the creation of our new range of postcards.

“We invite entrants to be imaginative in the medium they use to create their image; whether this is a photograph, an illustration, a collage – we can’t wait to see all of the inventive ideas.”
