CELEBRATED Scottish musicians Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain will be showing off their mercurial talents in Biggar later this month.

The duo will take to the stage at the Biggar Municipal Hall on May 11 and 12 with all proceeds going to Langvout Court, which will help the elderly residents with daycare services.

Organiser Lorna Gordon is hoping for a sellout crowd on both evenings.

She said: “I’m a big fan of Phil and Aly myself so it’s great to have them coming along and performing for us.

“They have such a busy schedule and the Municipal Hall is always so busy that it’s been hard to get dates when both of them were free.

“They are absolutely terrific musicians and have a keen following in this area so I’m sure that it will be terrific night for everyone who comes along.

“Ticket sales have been going very well but there are still a few remaining.”

Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain will be appearing at the Biggar Municipal Hall on May 11 and 12 at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £18 and are available by calling 01899 221443 or by emailing l.gordon@bield.co.uk.
