MEMBERS and guests of Castlehill Bowling Club are in for a real treat on Saturday, August 4.
South Lanarkshire singing sensation Lisa Thomson is performing her stage show which will be peppered with a full range of classic songs from across the last five decades. With rock, jazz, country and pop included in the set of this versatile performer.
She first made her name by winning the ‘Scottish Pop Idol 2008’ title but she decided she needed to spend more time perfecting her musical talent rather than chasing a fast track to fame.
She studied at the nationally renowned Academy of Music and Sound. Lisa has been performing on stage since she was twelve years of age and now at 18 she is ready to hit the road.
Lisa has been singing with her band in venues all across Glasgow but now embarks on a solo career. She has already recorded an EP of well known hits and is currently in the middle of completing her first album of her own music.
