A NEW art exhibition will showcase portraits of Scottish poet Hugh MacDiarmid.

Biggar Museum Trust’s Brownsbank Committee, in association with the art gallery at the Corn Exchange, is bringing Alexander Moffat’s high profile exhibition MacDiarmid and the Company He Kept to the town.

The exhibition will open on Saturday, February 2, at 2pm and will run until the end of March.

Tickets, priced £2, will be available on the door.
