THERE was plenty to taste and try, sell and buy at Lesmahagow’s village market, held recently in the Fountain Hall.
Organised by Lesmahagow Community Council, the markets have become very successful over the past few years with several taking place every calendar year and this one was no exception.
From early in the morning a steady stream of locals took the chance to browse the various stalls to see if they could pick up a bargain.
From fresh fruit and vegetables to jewellery and cards, there was something for everyone.
The market also saw a exhibition of photographs of Lesmahagow from yesteryear displayed.
