LANARK teenager Amelia Palmer produced a ‘royally good’ showjumping display at the Royal Highland Show on her pony Jimminy Cricket.

Amelia (15), of Stanmore Stables, finished as runner-up in the Liz Fox JC Championships 110cm class in Ingliston last week and also landed fourth spot in the Danny Smacks 148cm category.

Her proud mum Sharon said: “Amelia was absolutely over the moon with those results as it was the first time she’d ever competed at the Royal Highland Show.”
