Hawksland Farm invests in wind turbine

A LESMAHAGOW dairy farm has turned to green energy, investing in a wind turbine with funding from RBS.

Hawksland Farm has been in the King family since 1956 and for the last 25 years has been run by William King junior.

The dairy farm has 230 acres of land and a further 160 acres of rented land to house its 350 cattle, 10 sheep and 60 acres of spring barley.
