THE Seventies might have gone down in history as the decade that fashion forgot but the former pupils of Lanark Grammar School still recall these years VERY fondly.
So much so, in fact, that they have gathered from all over the world to recall, almost forty years on, what many of them regard as the happiest days of their lives.
The reunion this article refers to - and there have been several different ones recently - is of the Grammar intake of 1975, folk who are now all reaching the milestone of their fiftieth birthday.
And one thing you can say about the `freshers’ of that particular year was that there was plenty of them!
