ONE of the finest string quartets in the country will be the guests of Biggar Music Club later this month.

The Doric String Quartet have received glowing responses from audiences and critics across the globe.

Violinists Alex Redington and Jonathan Stone combine with Hélène Clément, who plays the viola and celloist John Myerscough.

Together they have won numerous awards, collaborated with international artists, played in famed concert halls, toured all over the world, and made acclaimed recordings.

Biggar Music Club presents the Doric String Quartet in Biggar Muncipal Hall on Wednesday, February 12, at 8pm. Tickets cost £10 at the door.
