THE first Music in Lanark concert of 2015 will see Ken Mathieson bring his Classic Jazz Orchestra to the New Lanark Institute.

Drawing on a massive library of original arrangements, the band’s stylistic versatility covers all of jazz from ragtime to hard bop and beyond - in short, from Jelly Roll Morton to Charles Mingus.

CJO is an award-winning band which has gained an international reputation for the quality of its soloists and ensemble playing.
