CHILDREN from all primary classes at Carstairs Primary School performed their hearts out at their annual Scottish concert.

They sang, danced and recited poetry for a delighted audience of parents, staff and friends.

Head teacher Linda Campbell said: “The audience absolutely loved it. It was one of our most successful yet.

“We always have a good turnout but we had a fantastic number in attendance at the Scottish Celebration this year.”

Each year sang, with hits including Katie Beardie, Fitba’ Crazy and Ye Cannae Shove Yer Grannie Aff a Bus. It was topped off with and enthusiastic rendition of the Runrig version of the Bonnie Banks.
