A ‘CRACKING’ turnout of over 100 people took part in the third annual Carnwath Easter Egg Hunt, organised by Carnwath 2000.
Youngsters aged between two and 13 attempted to find their prize at the event in Sir John Mann Park, with most of them landing a delicious chocolate treat.
“We had a very big turnout this year,” said Garry McCallum, who runs the Carnwath 2000 Facebook page and who took and submitted the pictures to the Gazette.
“It was a nice sunny day, which meant that the number who took part was well up on last year.
“The kids absolutely loved what was a cracking day.”
The event also featured another chance for participating youngsters – including Carnwath Primary School kids – to win Easter eggs by attempting to throw coins as near to the eggs as possible from around four feet away.
