Barn Owl Belle is Clydesdale’s newest film star

Clydesdale could soon have its own film star but she won’t be signing any autographs or strutting her stuff on the red carpet – because Belle is a barn owl.

She has a lead role in a short film being made in Scotland, which will have its premiere in Glasgow before being seen at various film festivals around the globe.

“It could even be shown at Cannes,” laughed Lesley Thomson who, with her husband George, runs the company Rhuallan Raptors near Carmichael.
