It’s been a busy festive period for the members of Shine Youth Theatre – and it’s only going to get busier this month.

Members entertained crowds in Glasgow’s Princes Square at a special Christmas carol service as well as various other events in and around Carluke.

However, there is more to come from Shine as – at the end of this month – it begins a five day stint at the Motherwell Civic Concert Hall with its version of Peter Pan - The Musical.

Work on The Lighthouse, which is based at Castlehill Industrial Estate in Carluke, is set to be completed by the spring meaning Shine will now have a place to call home and other local groups will also have a new facility.
