VISITING firemen were a hot attraction for youngsters at Braidwood Playgroup’s action packed Fun Day held in and around the village hall.
Firefighters let the youngsters – aged between two-and-a-half and five – sit in a fire engine and try on their hard hats. The kids were also given a demonstration of how to use a fire hose.
“That was a particular favourite part of the day for the youngsters,” said Braidwood Playgroup play leader Fiona Bain. “The dads really liked it as well!”
