A PLEA has been made for the many absent friends of the Lanimers to come back to the celebrations this year.

And those making the appeal are also saying that the 2012 Lanimers – taking place on the same week as the main Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations – should be seen as an opportunity rather than a clash.

A meeting for those interested is being held on Sunday, February 5.
