ALTHOUGH their official title is the Crowning Ladies Circle, you might name the group celebrating its 30th anniversary the Lanimer-Ladies-Who-Lunch.
Forming the sisterhood of women crowning the Lanimer Queen was all the idea of the Crowning Lady-elect of 1982 Sheila Shanks, (the late grandmother of this year’s Lanimer Queen) who decided to `research’ her coming role by inviting some of her predecessors round for a coffee and a chat.
