Kirkton Primary School fun day for Eco Awareness 25/5/12

CHILDREN at Carluke’s Kirkton Primary School learned all about the importance of looking after the environment during an exciting Eco Day featuring numerous activities.

Kirkton Primary P1 teacher Sarah Munro, the school’s eco co-ordinator, said: “The day was absolutely super.

“The children were really engaged and enjoyed the activities.

“This event was to encourage the children to look after the environment and learn about the effects of climate change.

“This is with a view to the children eating more healthy things like fruit, fish and vegetables and avoiding fatty foods.”
