A LANARK make-up artist student has picked up a regional award for her work.

Clydebank College student Laura Jane MacMillan took home the body painting award at the Association of Hairdressing and Therapist Awards, held in Coatbridge.

She received her award from Clydebank College lecturer June Long.

And in a double Clydesdale celebration, fellow student Debbie Britton, from Carluke, finished second in the competition.
