THIS year’s Douglas Gala Queen has been announced with primary seven pupil Allana Halliday being the lucky girl.

Allana, who attends Douglas Primary School along with the rest of the Gala Court, was lucky enough to be given the honour having been picked out of the hat and succeeds the 2012 Gala Queen Sharon Dunn, who was crowned last year by Jaclyn Welsh.
